We should maintain that if an interpretation of any word in any religion leads to disharmony and does not positively further the welfare of the many, then such an interpretation is to be regarded as wrong; that is, against the will of God, or as the working of Satan or Mara.

In Pursuit of Justice

The United Nation's agency for women, UN Women, has released a major study on the place of women in the world entitled, "Progress of the World's Women: In Pursuit of Justice." You can see the Executive Summary (here) and a news posting from the Guardian (here).  The Executive Summary highlights ten actions nations around the world can take to improve the lives of women and give them full and equal justice.  The report itself documents both the progress that has been made in global women's rights and the ways in which that progress has fallen short of full equality.  Check it out.
