A resident of North Dakota has identified a flaw in the state's constitution, which he believes calls into question North Dakota's statehood. One word has been omitted at what he believes is a key juncture. For six years he has been on a one-man mission to get the flaw fixed, and he has finally gotten the matter on the ballot for the November 2012 election. The state legislature has already ratified the change. The story has been a minor sensation on line, esp. because MSNBC picked it up (here).
