We should maintain that if an interpretation of any word in any religion leads to disharmony and does not positively further the welfare of the many, then such an interpretation is to be regarded as wrong; that is, against the will of God, or as the working of Satan or Mara.

Another Voice on Contraception

North Country Public Radio recently interviewed the Rev. Laurena Will, pastor of First Presbyterian Church of Ogdensburg, NY, concerning her views on the current debate over Planned Parenthood, abortion, contraception, and religious freedom.  The posting, entitled, "Pastor sees personal choice threatened in health coverage debate," presents an alternative view to that of the Catholic Church and various evangelical Protestant denominations and groups.  The posting includes both the audio interview and a transcript, and I recommend RPK readers check it out.
